Bronze statue with gold plating of Deity holding captured bride/consort.
Deity has 8 heads, w/ terra cotta hair to resemble lotus blossom when looking from above. 8 pairs of arms, each holding a different character in a filled bowl.
Deity wears a loin cloth of jaguar skin with a belt of 6 heads.
Upper armour is adorned with 7 heads.
Consort is adorned with turquoise eyed skulls around her necklace and waist chains.
She wears a crown with 5 spires, and a scowling disposition.

1800 c. Bronze w/ Gold Plating Tibetan Tantric Deity Statue
"Tara" ~ 1800 c. Seductive Bronze statue with gold plating, and cobalt and ruby paint highlighting her hair, ears, and parts of her costume. Tara is known as, "A female bodhisattva of compassion, born from a tear of Avalokiteshvara, Tara is especially associated with the ability to protect her devotees from suffering, fears and dangers."
Thangkas play an important role in Tibetan Buddhist rituals by providing support during the process of visualization. And this is one of the most lovely Thangkas that I have ever seen! 3 different colors of brocade silk borders, surround the canvas painting of a gold embellished Bodhissitva, genie, consort and servants. Great original oil on linen of Venice Canal, and the grand St. Paul's Cathedral on the left. Hand painted by Ijim with lovely and ornate antique baroque style gold frame.
This Shadow Man painting is a true treasure! It was personally painted for, and given to "Glenn", owner of Casa de Oro Antiques & Fine Art, by the artist himself, Mr. Richard Hambleton!
The spots are from the rain storm that insued after painting was presented to Glenn.
Still vivid though without frame or glass, this Salvadore Dali Lithograph is number 117 of 300 lithographs with a strong signature present. Possibly from 1948.
Titled, "Slave Market Disappearing- Bust of Voltair"
This lovely jade statue features several carved figures, and a twining of rose around the entire piece. Base is brass over bronze and looks to have been altered with hole in back of base.
Definately worth the time to click onto photo and see the enlargement!

Chinese Wood Statue
Highly detailed wooden statue of Chinese man sitting with a dragon. The man has ivory teeth which do not show very well in photo.
MEASURES: 8" tall
This antique clock is a lovely!! The chimes sound like Heaven on Earth and just keep going and going! True Treasure for anyone, collector or not!
MEASURES: 16" tall x 11.25" wide x 9" deep.
Front door drops down to expose inside mechanisms. Inlaid maple conch shells on front of door. Back paper has been destroyed, but does expose what looks to be 7 bells which make the phenominal sounds!
